JOEYS

From 2 years – 2.5 years children Transition into our Joey Room.

Here the children will be introduced to their Key Person during their settle session, which allows for strong bonds to be built from day one.

Our fun and adventurous staff in Joeys are able to provide some fantastic activities for the children, which will focus on their Social interaction and build on the communication skills in a small group of 10 children max.

This allows close observations and staff are able to scaffold and provide support to the children as they “find their feet”

Joeys 2

Children are encouraged through independence to control their own learning and have the freedom to self-select according to their own current interests.

Provocations are provided to encourage learning opportunities and extend the children’s knowledge and understanding. Resources and equipment are often changed to promote curiosity and imagination to explore the environment around them, becoming confident little people.

We love to get creative with a wide range of paints, sand, water and other art materials so please dress your child for mess on a nursery day.
