Here at Little Roo’s pre-school we aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment, where children’s individuality is respected and valued. By allowing the children to have free choice in the resources this enables them to have individual liberty and encourage them to become confident and assertive as the grow and work towards their next steps based on the EYFS curriculum.

We allow the children to direct their learning, our staff are here to enhance their knowledge and not to lead it.

A caring staff team that is well trained and supported will encourage the children in their social interactions to help children become school ready.

Little Roo’s pre-school is committed to establish quality relationships with all parents based on mutual respect and trust. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and should be centrally involved in their child’s education. We welcome and value parents’ comments and suggestions and strive to create excellent communication and links to outside pre-school professions.

Fees

You may be entitled to 2-year education funding. All children aged 3-5 years are entitled to Early Education funding.

Thank you for visiting the Little Roo’s Pre-School website. Little Roo’s Pre School is an established pre-school, who are maintaining the long history of pre-schools at St Mary’s church hall. The current staff at Little Roos have been with us many years and have familiar and close connections with our families and local community.

Little Roo’s Pre-School offers high quality care, and education for children ranging from 2 years to 5 years. We believe in working in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop, offering children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

There is a stimulating selection of play equipment for children to use. Each of the 7 areas of learning from the Early Years Foundation Stage are catered for, these areas are available to the children throughout their time with us. Our ethos is that children learn best when they are interested which is why we work with the children and adapt our teaching to their way of learning.
